Facebook Release Application Marks the WTC Tragedy

Facebook working with The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, will advise the user up to dedicate their profile photo or dedicate their status to remember victims of the tragedy of the World Trade Center (WTC) , Sept. 11. Applications memorial has been built by Facebook, and was released on Wednesday (07/09/2011). This application was released a few days before the tragedy is commemorated.

"The purpose of this application is to honor and remember the victims of the devastating legendary moans WTC, 10 years ago," says Jascha Kaykas-Wolff, Involver's Senior Vice President of Marketing Facebook.

Facebook users can choose to dedicate their status or update their profile photo. These applications can also tell family and friends about how users remember and menghormato victims.

Each time a user facebook dedicate their status, then the application will choose one of the 3000 victims and will dedicate every single person status to a single victim. But users can also choose to whom dedicated their status through the application.

This application will appear in a number of prominent Facebook Pages, including a congressman, presidential candidate, federal agencies, non-profit companies, and celebrities. Facebook and involvernya will display the application on their own pages.

Warning WTC tragedy could reverberate in social media, considering Facebook has 750 million active members.
